This Privacy Policy explains how FaceBlurr ("FaceBlurr," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information when you use the FaceBlurr iOS application and related support services (collectively, the "Service"). FaceBlurr is provided by Jinhee Shim.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Service and direct support communications with us. It does not apply to third-party websites, apps, SDKs, platforms, or services that have their own terms or privacy notices, including Apple and Google services used by the app.

1. Information We Process

A. Photos you choose to edit

FaceBlurr lets you:

• import a photo from your photo library; or
• take a new photo with your device camera.

The app uses that photo so you can detect faces, add blur regions, add optional overlays, preview edits, and save an edited copy.

Based on the current version of the app, photo editing is designed to happen locally on your device. We do not operate a cloud photo-editing backend for FaceBlurr, and we do not intentionally upload your photo image content to our own servers for editing or storage through the app.

B. Face data and face detection results

When you choose a photo to edit, the app may process the face-related image content in that photo locally on your device in order to detect faces and let you blur them.

• face detection is performed locally on-device using Apple's Vision framework;
• the app temporarily generates approximate face bounding boxes or blur regions for the current editing session;
• those face detection results are used only to display editable blur regions and render your edited image;
• we do not use face data to identify a specific person;
• we do not create, collect, or store biometric templates, faceprints, embeddings, or face recognition profiles;
• we do not upload face data to our own servers; and
• we do not share face data or face detection results with third parties.

Face detection results are intended to remain only on-device and in temporary memory for the active editing session. When you reset the editor, switch photos, or close out the active editing flow, those in-session face detection results are cleared by the app. The app may also temporarily hold the selected photo itself in local device memory or temporary local files while editing is in progress.
